MEET EVENT TRACKING

Our EVENT TRACKING feature lets employee athletes log the races they're already running. On race day, wearable data flows in automatically — finish times, pacing, performance metrics — and populates your athlete card, your company's leaderboard position, and team-level stats in real time.

This is what makes TCL different: We turn every race into a competition between the companies standing at the start line.

Say your company has 12 employees running the Boston Marathon. A rival company has 8. As each employee athlete crosses the finish line, TCL is updating participation counts, average finish times, fastest splits, and head-to-head company rankings — live, on the app. The race didn't change. The competition did.

Every race can become a company competition. Every goal set and finish line crossed puts points on the board. From a local 5K to the Boston Marathon — the size of the event doesn't matter. What matters is that you showed up.

YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE
ALREADY RACING.
GIVE THEM A TEAM.

Your company already has runners, cyclists, and endurance athletes punching the clock every week. They're already logging training miles and racing on weekends. TCL turns all of that effort into something bigger.

This isn't another wellness app, it's a professional league. Your company registers as a team. Your employees compete as athletes. Every race they finish puts points on the board, updates the leaderboard, and ties their performance to your company's name — in real time, at any event in the world.

TCL creates the competitive framework around the millions of employee athletes already chasing their fitness goals.

5 pillars 1 community

  • Grid Talk

Published every Monday. Every race, volunteering effort, and personal challenge self-reported by community members. All race and volunteer activities count toward the leaderboard. No event is too small.

  • training highlights

Submit your peak week, first long run, and breakthrough workout. Coaches and training groups featured. Training doesn't earn league points, but it earns respect, community recognition, and a spotlight in the Monday post.

  • volunteering & race support

Crew and volunteers earn miles for the leaderboard submitted the same way as a race. Race directors post volunteer needs. The person who sets up aid stations at 3am finally has a home.

  • Misogi Cup

One hard thing per year with a genuine chance of failure. A 100-miler for a veteran or a first 5K for a new runner both count. Season 1 opens January 1, 2027.

  • Platform & Podcast

The Company League Podcast features stories from corporate athletes, culture builders, coaches, and organizations creating fitness-forward workplaces. Hosted by Dave Robinson.

  • Culture Playbook

How to build a volunteer company fitness resource group from scratch the proven model, documented and given away freely. Free. Always.

COMMUNITY CAUSES

ATHLETES COMPETE.
CAUSES WIN TOO.

Every TCL athlete who submits an event names the cause they're racing for. We feature it, amplify it, and connect sponsors to athletes whose causes align with their mission.

100%

OF ATHLETE SPOTLIGHTS INCLUDE THEIR CHARITY

Sponsors who align with specific causes can be matched to athletes and events that support those causes. When TCL features an athlete, their charity is included in the spotlight — every time. No extra cost. Just part of what we do.

meet gridrunner labs

GridRunner Labs is the founding team of The Company League — and our roster is open.

If your company hasn't joined TCL yet, you don't have to wait. Any athlete, any skill level, can compete under the GridRunner Labs banner as a free agent.

The Company League was founded by employee athletes working in corporate wellness. What started as a rolling spreadsheet tracking step challenges and company fitness challenges turned into something much bigger. We are the employee athletes who show up for the love of the sport and the culture around it.

Every time you compete under the GridRunner Labs name, you put points on the same leaderboard as every free agent sharing similar fitness values and competitive spirit.

When your company eventually joins and invites you to their roster, your points accumulated go with you.

SUPPORT A ATHLETE DIRECTLY

PUT YOUR BRAND BEHIND A REAL ATHLETE'S REAL RACE

The most direct way to get involved. Visit any sponsored athlete's page and support them directly — your contribution goes straight to the athlete and keeps them on the start line. Details on each athlete's page.

REACH THE MOST
VALUABLE AUDIENCE IN SPORT.

  • The TCL community is made up of dedicated employee athletes with set goals and a race on the calendar, a defined pre-race spending window, and an employer behind them actively investing in corporate wellness.

  • We're being completely transparent about how sponsorship works right now. We don't have 100,000 users yet. What we have is a real community, a real athlete, and a real movement being built in public.

  • Sponsorship dollars go directly to supported athletes like Pat Hallahan for gear, race entry fees, and travel. You're funding the person, not the overhead.

  • Funds flow to race directors who partner with TCL — prize money support, event infrastructure, volunteer coordination. We're building the financial pipeline endurance sports needs.

  • Your brand is featured in front of a growing community of corporate athletes — weekly event list, athlete spotlights, Monday post, and Instagram. Authentic, not algorithmic.

As the platform scales, sponsor dollars grow with it — toward prize money, championship events, and media. This is the ground floor.
